More than a billion people around the globe have no access to electricity and three billion of the world’s population are still using traditional and polluting fuels for cooking- the majority living in developing countries of Asia and Africa. In rural areas, on average, less than ten percent of the population have access to electricity and clean cooking & heating facilities. 


Without access to affordable and clean energy, the major part of the world’s population will continue to suffer from poverty and social inequality, causing the long-term social and political conflicts.
